Yeah, I know. Another Buick posting.... in less than a month. There's just something about seeing this 65' Riviera sitting out there in the plains, slowly succumbing to the elements. So many questions. How did it wind up there? What's lurking under that hood? Could it be the optional "Wildcat 465" engine putting out 340 horsepower or maybe the "Super Wildcat" making 360? Would those clamshells still work? It seems a fitting backdrop for such a gorgeous piece of detroit sculpture.

Great Blog!
Especially the 'sheet metal sculpture' theme. Grew up in the 50's when 90% of our entertainment was cars. I have a '53 MGTD that I was going to do a Hemmings inspired 'ground-up' restoration. As the semi-ex wife likes to tell it "he took the car apart when the baby was born! Baby's been out of the USAF 5 yrs. and he still doesn't have it back together!!;~}
Will send you some of my 'car art' pics!:)
Thx!

Thanks Jim. Never too late to get started on that resto.
Be happy to look at your photos. Could be a story there.
